The site is outdoors in a woodland garden with a fire circle, tarpaulin shelter, some open space, some trees and shrubs, running water and a compost toilet close to the site. It is accessible by wheelchair and if you have mobility challenges, please contact us for details on parking close by.

We are hosting the event and will take all precautions to eliminate risks but you are responsible for yourselves, your children and your belongings. It is a private space inside a public park and the site isn't fenced off from the track. Please be aware that there will be fire, trip hazards, trees to climb, ropes etc on site so pay particular attention to younger children.

What should I wear?

Come dressed appropriately for the weather and the temperature. Layers are best because you may warm up when you’re doing an activity and cool down when you’re relaxing and sitting still. Bear in mind that if it has been raining anything you bring may get wet. We have shelters but it's a wild site with minimum infrastructure.

What should I bring?

For our public events

Please bring a plate, bowl, mug and cutlery etc for yourself and/or family and a camping chair for adults. There are log rounds for children. Bring snacks and water for yourselves.

For our corporate events

We'll provide everything you need for lunch, but feel free to bring snacks and water for yourselves. There are log rounds to sit on but you may prefer to bring a camping chair.

Food

We'll cook a shared meal based on the dietary needs of the participants and we'll let you know what it will be beforehand. Hot refreshments will be provided.

How do I get there?

We want to start the event with everyone together. Therefore please aim to arrive 20 mins before the start time to allow for paying for parking, meeting and walking to the site.

We'll wait in the car park until 5 mins before the start time. If you are late, make your way to the orange container as below, take the track to the left of it, follow to the end then turn right and walk up the track until you come to the metal gate to Stanmer Organics. We are the 4th site on the left approx 100m down the track.

Meeting point

If you know the site, make your way to the gate at the start of the track to Stanmer Organics. If you are new, walk up to the back of the car park, to the far end where there is a large, orange shipping container (see links below) and we'll meet you there 15 mins before the start time.
